I have been coaching both the Executive Director and one of her senior management team members. The ED has been there for almost 20 years and is looking to undertake succession planning as well as her own transition to a new career/next step.
The Senior Manager of Programs is an up and coming manager with ED capabilities. I have been working with her to further develop her leadership skills and application with her team.
Working with people who have had very limited self development has been very rewarding. They have been absolute sponges and eager to put their work into practice. Baby steps from my perspective are leaps for them.
