My Impact:
I am providing pro-bono services to a female leader who is very talented. But she is challenged by being in a new high-profile role. Her job is to communicate well and persuade but she is intimidated by her hard-ball, highly political environment and her mostly male colleagues who are well practiced influencers. Her stress is causing her to lose her words and her confidence. This is complicated because English is not her native tongue. I am providing a variety of services, including shadow coaching.
Lessons Learned:
I am learning what I have always known – to serve in this way is so fulfilling. I am sure I am gaining at least as much as I am giving.
