My Impact:
Working with a Huddle Group, resulting from the Women’s March on Washington on January 21, 2017. Providing coaching regarding having constructive dialogue and conversations. Using Parker Palmer book on Democracy and supporting opportunities in the local community to build bridges and support for those feeling disenfranchised as a result of some of the current actions in Washington. Commitment to coach these conversations and support to bring needed change.
Lessons Learned:
This is not an easy time, but if we continue to dialogue and come together as small groups, write to representatives in our country to support needed initiatives for immigrants, LGB, and women’s issues as well as support organizations like Planned Parenthood and other, we can hopefully not turn the clock back!
